Narrative:
The taxi chart in phx does not show the correct names of txwys between taxiway B and taxiway C. We landed on runway 26 and were told to taxi in via taxiway B and taxiway C-9. As you proceed eastbound on taxiway B all of the txwys to the left are named bravo something. Most, but not all of the txwys to the right are named charley something. But the north side of the airport is under construction and a thorough search of taxi charts (10-6), (10-7), (10-8), (10-9), and (10-9B) give no clues as to the location of taxiway C-9. So we were left with reading signs along the way. When we reached taxiway B-9 on the left we could see no sign on the right, but we could see the sign for the next taxiway to the right. It was taxiway C-8, so we turned right. It turned out to be taxiway C-7. The naming of these taxiways are confusing. The charts are not current and they are confusing. ATC was not upset and there was no conflict, but to be given false information on taxi charts is inexcusable.

Title: B737-300 CREW WAS NOT ABLE TO IDENTIFY THE CLEARED TXWY BECAUSE OF MISSING SIGNS AT PHX.
Narrative: THE TAXI CHART IN PHX DOES NOT SHOW THE CORRECT NAMES OF TXWYS BETWEEN TXWY B AND TXWY C. WE LANDED ON RWY 26 AND WERE TOLD TO TAXI IN VIA TXWY B AND TXWY C-9. AS YOU PROCEED EASTBOUND ON TXWY B ALL OF THE TXWYS TO THE LEFT ARE NAMED BRAVO SOMETHING. MOST, BUT NOT ALL OF THE TXWYS TO THE RIGHT ARE NAMED CHARLEY SOMETHING. BUT THE NORTH SIDE OF THE ARPT IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND A THOROUGH SEARCH OF TAXI CHARTS (10-6), (10-7), (10-8), (10-9), AND (10-9B) GIVE NO CLUES AS TO THE LOCATION OF TXWY C-9. SO WE WERE LEFT WITH READING SIGNS ALONG THE WAY. WHEN WE REACHED TXWY B-9 ON THE LEFT WE COULD SEE NO SIGN ON THE RIGHT, BUT WE COULD SEE THE SIGN FOR THE NEXT TXWY TO THE RIGHT. IT WAS TXWY C-8, SO WE TURNED RIGHT. IT TURNED OUT TO BE TXWY C-7.
