Narrative:
After landing on runway 25L at lax I received instrument to exit at taxiway papa and hold short of runway 25R. While trying to expeditiously come to a smooth stop, the nose of our aircraft crossed the hold short line by approximately 5 ft. It was my first time as captain landing at lax. Will remember the short distance between parallels in the future.
