Narrative:
Tower cleared aircraft into position and hold on runway 33. First officer and I both heard him clear aircraft X to taxi into position. First officer acknowledged 'position and hold runway 33 aircraft X.' after initiating our taxi into position, aircraft on other side of runway questioned the tower as to who was cleared. After tower advised that the business jet was the one cleared, we did a 180 degree and exited the runway. There were no further conflicts. First officer explained to the tower that both aircraft probably acknowledged the clearance at the same time. Tower controller replied no problem. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter said that there was no hazard since the other aircraft never moved. The two aircraft were on opposite sides of the runway at the same taxiway and were the only traffic on the airport.

Title: ACCEPTING ANOTHER ACFT'S CLRNC LEADS TO A RWY INCURSION. A QUESTION BY THE OTHER ACFT TO THE CTLR AS TO WHO THE CLRNC WAS FOR RESULTED IN A RESOLUTION.
Narrative: TWR CLRED ACFT INTO POS AND HOLD ON RWY 33. FO AND I BOTH HEARD HIM CLR ACFT X TO TAXI INTO POS. FO ACKNOWLEDGED 'POSITION AND HOLD RWY 33 ACFT X.' AFTER INITIATING OUR TAXI INTO POS, ACFT ON OTHER SIDE OF RWY QUESTIONED THE TWR AS TO WHO WAS CLRED. AFTER TWR ADVISED THAT THE BUSINESS JET WAS THE ONE CLRED, WE DID A 180 DEG AND EXITED THE RWY. THERE WERE NO FURTHER CONFLICTS. FO EXPLAINED TO THE TWR THAT BOTH ACFT PROBABLY ACKNOWLEDGED THE CLRNC AT THE SAME TIME. TWR CTLR REPLIED NO PROB. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR SAID THAT THERE WAS NO HAZARD SINCE THE OTHER ACFT NEVER MOVED. THE TWO ACFT WERE ON OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE RWY AT THE SAME TXWY AND WERE THE ONLY TFC ON THE ARPT.
