Narrative:
We were cleared to a higher altitude, and we climbed as soon as we were cleared to a higher altitude, but by the time that the clearance was read, it was too late -- we were at 5300 ft. The major problem was distraction in the flight deck.

Narrative: WE WERE CLRED TO A HIGHER ALT, AND WE CLBED AS SOON AS WE WERE CLRED TO A HIGHER ALT, BUT BY THE TIME THAT THE CLRNC WAS READ, IT WAS TOO LATE -- WE WERE AT 5300 FT. THE MAJOR PROB WAS DISTR IN THE FLT DECK.
