Narrative:
The bomb threat happened before boarding, so the chain of events were irrelevant. The judgement and decisions from the ground crew were very wrong. The plane was not completely checked (cabin) by anyone. Carts were not opened nor were existing boxes holding supplies. When confronted with this, the security adviser advised the crew that sealed items needed not to be checked. I find that to be obscured, seeing how bombs would not normally be left in a seat in open view. I feel the plane, and its contents, should be completely examined. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the bomb threat was non specific. A telephone call to a local judge indicated 'a bomb was on a united states aircraft going to the united states.' the air carrier was not mentioned and neither was the flight number. The flight attendants voiced their concerns to the flight crew and the gsc. The reporter submitted an extensive report to the company. To date, the company has not responded.

Title: B777 CREW WAS INFORMED OF A BOMB THREAT TO ACFT AT SABE. AN INCOMPLETE ACFT SEARCH WAS CONDUCTED.
Narrative: THE BOMB THREAT HAPPENED BEFORE BOARDING, SO THE CHAIN OF EVENTS WERE IRRELEVANT. THE JUDGEMENT AND DECISIONS FROM THE GND CREW WERE VERY WRONG. THE PLANE WAS NOT COMPLETELY CHKED (CABIN) BY ANYONE. CARTS WERE NOT OPENED NOR WERE EXISTING BOXES HOLDING SUPPLIES. WHEN CONFRONTED WITH THIS, THE SECURITY ADVISER ADVISED THE CREW THAT SEALED ITEMS NEEDED NOT TO BE CHKED. I FIND THAT TO BE OBSCURED, SEEING HOW BOMBS WOULD NOT NORMALLY BE LEFT IN A SEAT IN OPEN VIEW. I FEEL THE PLANE, AND ITS CONTENTS, SHOULD BE COMPLETELY EXAMINED. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE BOMB THREAT WAS NON SPECIFIC. A TELEPHONE CALL TO A LCL JUDGE INDICATED 'A BOMB WAS ON A UNITED STATES ACFT GOING TO THE UNITED STATES.' THE ACR WAS NOT MENTIONED AND NEITHER WAS THE FLT NUMBER. THE FLT ATTENDANTS VOICED THEIR CONCERNS TO THE FLC AND THE GSC. THE RPTR SUBMITTED AN EXTENSIVE RPT TO THE COMPANY. TO DATE, THE COMPANY HAS NOT RESPONDED.
