Narrative:
On final approach runway 25L, I ws PNF. While performing before landing checklist, I noticed that the approach mode on flight director and autoplt was deselected and we were suddenly deviating left of course and were above GS. Simultaneously, while I noticed this, the controller instructed us to climb and turn to a heading further to the left to execute a go around. Complied with these instructions and completed another approach to an uneventful landing.
