Narrative:
ATC approach control told us to expect runway 5R. Then they changed their mind and assigned us runway 5L, on the condition that we had a visual on a B737 at 2 O'clock position, which we did. Approach did not advise us about an air carrier X B737 on long final for runway 5L, and then told us to turn to 050 degrees to parallel, which we then did.

Narrative: ATC APCH CTL TOLD US TO EXPECT RWY 5R. THEN THEY CHANGED THEIR MIND AND ASSIGNED US RWY 5L, ON THE CONDITION THAT WE HAD A VISUAL ON A B737 AT 2 O'CLOCK POS, WHICH WE DID. APCH DID NOT ADVISE US ABOUT AN ACR X B737 ON LONG FINAL FOR RWY 5L, AND THEN TOLD US TO TURN TO 050 DEGS TO PARALLEL, WHICH WE THEN DID.
