Narrative:
On apr/mon/01 I realized my medical (class III) and BFR had expired. This occurred after I had been flying for 2 months after a lengthy 1 yr rebuild of the left wing spars from the previous annual inspection. The BFR expired jul/00 -- the medical in may/00. Although I wasn't flying until feb/01, I failed to recognize the expiration dates and unwittingly flew in violation of the FARS.

Title: AFTER FLYING ILLEGALLY FOR 3 MONTHS, A PLT REALIZES THAT HIS MEDICAL AND BFR HAD EXPIRED.
Narrative: ON APR/MON/01 I REALIZED MY MEDICAL (CLASS III) AND BFR HAD EXPIRED. THIS OCCURRED AFTER I HAD BEEN FLYING FOR 2 MONTHS AFTER A LENGTHY 1 YR REBUILD OF THE L WING SPARS FROM THE PREVIOUS ANNUAL INSPECTION. THE BFR EXPIRED JUL/00 -- THE MEDICAL IN MAY/00.
