Narrative:

When the aircraft started descending, I felt a sharp pain in my ears and at that time my nose started bleeding. I applied a direct pressure on my nose. It kept bleeding for about 1 hour. I believe that the cause of this problem was sudden drop of altitude and extreme dry air in a cabin which might have caused an irritation in my nose. The crew rest area was especially dry.
