Narrative:
Descent to 10000 ft in building cumulus clouds and bumpy conditions. Autoplt did not capture in the turbulence and aircraft descended to about 8700 ft before correction was made. Sunlight through side windows put glare on autoplt control mode indicator panel.

Narrative: DSCNT TO 10000 FT IN BUILDING CUMULUS CLOUDS AND BUMPY CONDITIONS. AUTOPLT DID NOT CAPTURE IN THE TURB AND ACFT DSNDED TO ABOUT 8700 FT BEFORE CORRECTION WAS MADE. SUNLIGHT THROUGH SIDE WINDOWS PUT GLARE ON AUTOPLT CTL MODE INDICATOR PANEL.
