Narrative:
We were all strapped into our seats for what seemed like a normal takeoff. As we were picking up speed -- what felt like right before liftoff -- the captain applied the brakes and aborted our takeoff. We came to a stop and the captain made a PA. Captain asked the #1 flight attendant to come to cockpit and asked her to look for smoke out the aft windows. There was none. We then taxied back to the gate and changed aircraft for our flight.
