Narrative:
I am pilot and owner of a cessna T210N, and my wife and I were preparing to depart jeffco airport on may/sun/01 at about XA00 to fly to olu. I was told by ground control to taxi to runway 11L. After taxiing to the run-up area on taxiway a near taxiway A17, I performed a pre takeoff chkout and called the tower to inform them that I was prepared for departure on runway 11L. My wife and I both heard the tower operator say we were cleared for departure on runway 11L. I then called the tower and repeated that I was cleared for departure on runway 11L and began to taxi to the runway. After I was beginning to roll and attained speed of 30-40 KTS, the tower asked me to abort takeoff. I complied immediately with his request and turned left off the runway when able. I was then told to call the tower and was given a phone number. I phoned the tower and was told they would review the tapes. When we arrived home in olu, a recorded message advised me that I was not at fault and that it was their problem.
