Narrative:
Landing runway 22 at lga. ATIS reported winds calm. Visual approach was stable at 10000 ft but a significant tailwind of 20 KTS was noted. At 500 ft tailwind had not decreased, so we asked for a wind check. Tower reported winds 060 degrees at 12 KTS. We continued and landed. Medium brakes stopped the aircraft and we exited at the end. Tower reported winds 060 degrees at 20 KTS to the B757 behind us. They, too, used the entire runway. The next 3 planes went around and lga switched to runway 4. The calm winds on ATIS made us complacent, but we may have landed with more than 10 KTS of tailwind.

Title: A320 CREW LANDED EVEN THOUGH INERTIAL TAILWINDS EXCEEDED FLT MANUAL LIMITATIONS.
Narrative: LNDG RWY 22 AT LGA. ATIS RPTED WINDS CALM. VISUAL APCH WAS STABLE AT 10000 FT BUT A SIGNIFICANT TAILWIND OF 20 KTS WAS NOTED. AT 500 FT TAILWIND HAD NOT DECREASED, SO WE ASKED FOR A WIND CHK. TWR RPTED WINDS 060 DEGS AT 12 KTS. WE CONTINUED AND LANDED. MEDIUM BRAKES STOPPED THE ACFT AND WE EXITED AT THE END. TWR RPTED WINDS 060 DEGS AT 20 KTS TO THE B757 BEHIND US. THEY, TOO, USED THE ENTIRE RWY. THE NEXT 3 PLANES WENT AROUND AND LGA SWITCHED TO RWY 4. THE CALM WINDS ON ATIS MADE US COMPLACENT, BUT WE MAY HAVE LANDED WITH MORE THAN 10 KTS OF TAILWIND.
