Narrative:
During pushback, the forward flight attendant was concerned about the status of the service door emergency slide (right forward cabin door). Since I had #4 already started, I stopped the pushback, set the parking brake and asked my first officer to visually inspect the slide. He went back and visually confirmed that the slide was svcable. We had one of our dispatchers riding the jump seat as an observer and he also concurred with my first officer's assessment. Upon arrival in ZZZ (via grb) the caterer opened the service door and observed that the slide was hanging lower than usual. He then informed maintenance of the situation (unbeknownst to me). Maintenance inspector the slide and wrote it up as 'partially deployed.' they then removed and replaced the slide with a svcable one. The maintenance crew wrote up in the discrepancy section of the maintenance logbook that he suspected the aircraft had flown several stops with a partially deployed slide. I was not very happy about this write-up since we determined the slide to be svcable in dtw before departure.

THE MAINT CREW WROTE UP IN THE DISCREPANCY SECTION OF THE MAINT LOGBOOK THAT HE SUSPECTED THE ACFT HAD FLOWN SEVERAL STOPS WITH A PARTIALLY DEPLOYED SLIDE. I WAS NOT VERY HAPPY ABOUT THIS WRITE-UP SINCE WE DETERMINED THE SLIDE TO BE SVCABLE IN DTW BEFORE DEP.
