Narrative:
The weight of the aircraft was near maximum gross (615000 pounds). Speed 285 KTS for climb to 10000 ft. Given radar vector to heading 360 degrees from 090 degrees. During turn, approach control asked for expedited turn and climb. TA sounded and other captain disconnected autoplt in order to increase bank angle and climb rate. TA's as depicted during turn, near maximum aircraft performance.
