Narrative:
Upon final approach to runway 25L at lax, we were instructed to contact the tower at intersection left. I was flying the aircraft and the captain was working the radios. He switched frequency at intersection left and we understood 'cleared to land.' after landing and taxiing off the runway, the tower asked us if we had heard his last few calls to us. We responded that we had not. We were instructed to hold short of runway 25R, which we did, and afterwards, received clearance to cross runway 25R, where we contacted ground control and continued to the gate.
