While turning over ihd, the controller questioned our lead distance in the turn [for outbound radial interception]. We advised him it was computed by the FMS. Upon landing in pit, we discussed the occurrence with the sector supervisor (ZOB) and he advised us he would address the software issue with our supervisory personnel.

Title: ZOB CTLR QUESTIONS THE FLC OF AN A320 ABOUT THEIR LEAD DISTANCE FROM THE IHD VORTAC WHEN TURNING TO INTERCEPT AN OUTBOUND RADIAL NEAR PIT, PA.
Narrative: WHILE TURNING OVER IHD, THE CTLR QUESTIONED OUR LEAD DISTANCE IN THE TURN [FOR OUTBOUND RADIAL INTERCEPTION]. WE ADVISED HIM IT WAS COMPUTED BY THE FMS. UPON LNDG IN PIT, WE DISCUSSED THE OCCURRENCE WITH THE SECTOR SUPVR (ZOB) AND HE ADVISED US HE WOULD ADDRESS THE SOFTWARE ISSUE WITH OUR SUPERVISORY PERSONNEL.
