Narrative:
I was out practicing private pilot maneuvers over ft myers beach and I witnessed a single engine cessna at low altitude maneuvering in the vicinity of some boats. During a maneuver at about 1000 ft AGL, I noticed a large boat below me whose crew was appearing to identify my aircraft registration number. I then departed the area and landed at page field where I reported the other aircraft to the tower. I am concerned that the boat's crew may have confused my aircraft for the low flying cessna due to a similar paint scheme and my location relative to him. The WX during the incident was better than VFR with a 6000 ft ceiling and greater than 10 mi visibility.
