Narrative:
On leaving FBO, I was instructed to turn north on taxiway D and hold short of runway 35. Mistakenly, I turned south and found myself at the departure end of runway 26. I called ground and advised them that I was in need of assistance. Runways 27R and 27L were in use at the time. Problem was confusion in reading airport diagram.

Title: A C310 PLT ADMITTED TURNING THE WRONG DIRECTION ON TXWY D AT ZZZ, CAUSING HIM TO ARRIVE AT THE WRONG RWY.
Narrative: ON LEAVING FBO, I WAS INSTRUCTED TO TURN N ON TXWY D AND HOLD SHORT OF RWY 35. MISTAKENLY, I TURNED S AND FOUND MYSELF AT THE DEP END OF RWY 26. I CALLED GND AND ADVISED THEM THAT I WAS IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE. RWYS 27R AND 27L WERE IN USE AT THE TIME. PROB WAS CONFUSION IN READING ARPT DIAGRAM.
