Narrative:
Working ZZZ -- spoiler light on overhead panel. I found outboard linear variable differential transducer part number 03560411-001 and adjusted linear variable differential transducer per B757 maintenance manual task 27-62-00-825-031 paragraph G. Per ZZZ technical operations polices and procedures manual 40-30-05, this component is a 'required inspection item.' I was unaware of this requirement and it was not complied with. On 7/mon/01, the required inspection was complied with required inspection item and maintenance procedures that require inspections should have that requirement as part of the removal and replacement task.

Narrative: WORKING ZZZ -- SPOILER LIGHT ON OVERHEAD PANEL. I FOUND OUTBOARD LINEAR VARIABLE DIFFERENTIAL TRANSDUCER PART NUMBER 03560411-001 AND ADJUSTED LINEAR VARIABLE DIFFERENTIAL TRANSDUCER PER B757 MAINT MANUAL TASK 27-62-00-825-031 PARAGRAPH G. PER ZZZ TECHNICAL OPS POLICES AND PROCS MANUAL 40-30-05, THIS COMPONENT IS A 'REQUIRED INSPECTION ITEM.' I WAS UNAWARE OF THIS REQUIREMENT AND IT WAS NOT COMPLIED WITH. ON 7/MON/01, THE REQUIRED INSPECTION WAS COMPLIED WITH REQUIRED INSPECTION ITEM AND MAINT PROCS THAT REQUIRE INSPECTIONS SHOULD HAVE THAT REQUIREMENT AS PART OF THE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT TASK.
