Narrative:
Departed lax. Began leveloff at 3000 ft. Flaps were selected up at the same time ATC assigned 5000 ft. While flaps were transitioning, we had a momentary red ECAM overspd lasting less than 2 seconds and estimated less than 5 KTS. The vfe tape was out of view as the plane accelerated. This was the first flight of the day, day #3 of a 4 day identify.
