Narrative:
Fire control panel was svced by maintenance and both start levers moved to idle for access. Start lever position was missed on captain's preflight flow (and/or mine) and #2 engine was started with lever in idle position. All start parameters normal, maintenance contacted by phone, cleared by them to continues. It's on my flow now and should be on the before start checklist.
