Narrative:

Climbing out of iag runway heading (runway 6). Other aircraft was talking to iag or buf approach. I was on iag tower frequency. No warning to me was issued. Tower has BRITE radar. When directly overhead, I saw traffic up high 1-2 O'clock position. After I contacted buf approach, they asked if I saw C152, said yes, asked if I received warning from iag, I said no, but approach called iag tower who said I had left frequency, which is not true.
