Narrative:
Flight hrl-sat 6000 ft on leming 1 arrival. We were on a 310 degree heading off of elkay intersection for a visual or ILS approach to runway 12R sat. Sat approach control reported VFR traffic at our 1 - 2 O'clock position restr at 5500 ft passing right to left. We were in the tops of a broken cloud layer and commented to each other that it was going to be hard to see the aircraft and we doubted that he was actually complying with far cloud separation criteria. At about the same time we received a TCASII RA. My map mode was selected on the 10 mi range and I saw a target on the nose of our aircraft 400 ft below us in a climb. The captain complied with the RA and told approach we had an RA and were climbing. As we started the climb we heard a crash in the forward galley. The head flight attendant fell and hurt her hand. We returned to our altitude and continued for landing. Paramedics were called for the flight attendant. I do not believe the other aircraft was complying with FARS. I also think he was probably climbing to avoid a cloud top and climbed into our path. The aircraft was a king air twin engine turboprop.

Narrative: FLT HRL-SAT 6000 FT ON LEMING 1 ARR. WE WERE ON A 310 DEG HDG OFF OF ELKAY INTXN FOR A VISUAL OR ILS APCH TO RWY 12R SAT. SAT APCH CTL RPTED VFR TFC AT OUR 1 - 2 O'CLOCK POS RESTR AT 5500 FT PASSING R TO L. WE WERE IN THE TOPS OF A BROKEN CLOUD LAYER AND COMMENTED TO EACH OTHER THAT IT WAS GOING TO BE HARD TO SEE THE ACFT AND WE DOUBTED THAT HE WAS ACTUALLY COMPLYING WITH FAR CLOUD SEPARATION CRITERIA.
