Narrative:
On climb out of lga on whitestone climb runway 13, flight director failed and autothrottle failed. We continued departure hand flying aircraft and overshot 12000 ft clearance by 500 ft, immediately returned to 12000 ft.

Narrative: ON CLBOUT OF LGA ON WHITESTONE CLB RWY 13, FLT DIRECTOR FAILED AND AUTOTHROTTLE FAILED. WE CONTINUED DEP HAND FLYING ACFT AND OVERSHOT 12000 FT CLRNC BY 500 FT, IMMEDIATELY RETURNED TO 12000 FT.
