Narrative:
The captain and myself failed to see a logbook discrepancy. Prior to the latest airworthiness signoff, work was completed on the nosewheel, but the mechanic did not sign the form.

Title: B-737 PERSON WHO SIGNED THE MAINT RELEASE DID NOT INSURE ALL MAINT ITEMS WERE PROPERLY SIGNED OFF.
Narrative: THE CAPT AND MYSELF FAILED TO SEE A LOGBOOK DISCREPANCY. PRIOR TO THE LATEST AIRWORTHINESS SIGNOFF, WORK WAS COMPLETED ON THE NOSEWHEEL, BUT THE MECH DID NOT SIGN THE FORM.
