Narrative:
On this date, while parked at the FBO, I received departure ATIS and then contacted clearance delivery for my IFR clearance. I then tuned my communication to ground control and began taxiing without contacting ground control. Moving an airplane before receiving a taxi clearance is something that I can't ever remember doing. The ground controller contacted me and questioned my taxi clearance which my response was that I thought I had contacted him. On the last leg of my trip, I replayed the chain of events and realized that I had not contacted the controller. At my destination. I phoned the controller to apologize for my mistake. The controller was very nice and stated that everything was ok and not to worry about it. There was no other traffic taxiing at that time so safety was not compromised. The problem arose because of inattention on my part. I had just received word that I had been accepted for another job that I had applied for. I was real excited about the new opportunity and my mind was focused on the new job and not on my present job of flying. I think it is noteworthy that regardless how hard we strive for perfection, we are all susceptible to make a mistake. I have learned to leave outside issues outside the flight deck.

Title: BE90 PLT TAXIES WITHOUT A CLRNC AT BNA.
Narrative: ON THIS DATE, WHILE PARKED AT THE FBO, I RECEIVED DEP ATIS AND THEN CONTACTED CLRNC DELIVERY FOR MY IFR CLRNC. I THEN TUNED MY COM TO GND CTL AND BEGAN TAXIING WITHOUT CONTACTING GND CTL. MOVING AN AIRPLANE BEFORE RECEIVING A TAXI CLRNC IS SOMETHING THAT I CAN'T EVER REMEMBER DOING. THE GND CTLR CONTACTED ME AND QUESTIONED MY TAXI CLRNC WHICH MY RESPONSE WAS THAT I THOUGHT I HAD CONTACTED HIM. ON THE LAST LEG OF MY TRIP, I REPLAYED THE CHAIN OF EVENTS AND REALIZED THAT I HAD NOT CONTACTED THE CTLR. AT MY DEST. I PHONED THE CTLR TO APOLOGIZE FOR MY MISTAKE. THE CTLR WAS VERY NICE AND STATED THAT EVERYTHING WAS OK AND NOT TO WORRY ABOUT IT. THERE WAS NO OTHER TFC TAXIING AT THAT TIME SO SAFETY WAS NOT COMPROMISED. THE PROB AROSE BECAUSE OF INATTENTION ON MY PART. I HAVE LEARNED TO LEAVE OUTSIDE ISSUES OUTSIDE THE FLT DECK.
