Narrative:
At FL330 in cruise, heard and felt several rumbles, then a third, then noticed right (#2) engine had failed. Declared an emergency with ATC, completed all checklists, notified dispatch and diverted and landed safely at ZZZ. All personnel performed to expected high standards. Captain deemed landing at ZZZ to be as safe a course of action as landing at any other airport.
