Narrative:

Last min, ATC changed our departure runway from runway 10R to runway 10C with immediate clearance for takeoff. We checked weights on ACARS, and were good to go. After departure, we saw men and equipment working at departure end of runway 10C. We checked NOTAMS, and saw a 1-ITEM line buried in the ATIS reflecting that. The printed weights did not even have a letter associated with the last 2708 ft unavailable, and ACARS didn't give us any indication to believe that less than full length was available. Spoke to flight manager at ord, and showed him the printed weights and ATIS. We notified mr X at the ord NOTAM desk to ask him to update ACARS to reflect closure.
