Narrative:

In training, we have been given takeoffs at 500 ft RVR to qualify us for 500 ft RVR takeoffs. It has been my understanding that since we are trained for CAT I approachs to 1800 ft RVR, if the approach plate says 2400 ft RVR we can still do it down to 1800 ft RVR. Therefore, since we have just been trained for 500 ft RVR takeoffs, we could do a takeoff at 500 ft RVR even if the plate says 600 ft RVR.
