Narrative:
Received ATIS from abi at about XA30. Winds from the east, 7 mph. Departed runway 17. After airborne contacted abi tower for full stop landing. Specified had ATIS information. Was clear to land via right base runway 35R. I returned with clear to runway 17L. I was advised from tower runway 35R and did not comprehend to land on runway 35R. I did not put the correct input (comprehend) to land on runway 35R. (I did not intentionally land on runway 17R.) I realized the mistake to land on runway 35R. Got distracted handling the radio malfunction and used to land on runway 17R were actions to land on the runway 17R. To remedy the problem: pay better attention to ATC clearance, ensure good radio communication are established, ask for clarification of ATC instructions, avoid pilot complacent action -- be proactive, repeat ATC clearance on readback. I have remorse in such incident. Will not happen again. Looking toward improving flying skills and avoid runway incursion in the future. I apologized to abi ATC and the flying community.

Title: C150 PLT LANDED ON THE WRONG RWY AT ABI.
Narrative: RECEIVED ATIS FROM ABI AT ABOUT XA30. WINDS FROM THE E, 7 MPH. DEPARTED RWY 17. AFTER AIRBORNE CONTACTED ABI TWR FOR FULL STOP LNDG. SPECIFIED HAD ATIS INFO. WAS CLR TO LAND VIA R BASE RWY 35R. I RETURNED WITH CLR TO RWY 17L. I WAS ADVISED FROM TWR RWY 35R AND DID NOT COMPREHEND TO LAND ON RWY 35R. I DID NOT PUT THE CORRECT INPUT (COMPREHEND) TO LAND ON RWY 35R. (I DID NOT INTENTIONALLY LAND ON RWY 17R.) I REALIZED THE MISTAKE TO LAND ON RWY 35R. GOT DISTRACTED HANDLING THE RADIO MALFUNCTION AND USED TO LAND ON RWY 17R WERE ACTIONS TO LAND ON THE RWY 17R. TO REMEDY THE PROB: PAY BETTER ATTN TO ATC CLRNC, ENSURE GOOD RADIO COM ARE ESTABLISHED, ASK FOR CLARIFICATION OF ATC INSTRUCTIONS, AVOID PLT COMPLACENT ACTION -- BE PROACTIVE, REPEAT ATC CLRNC ON READBACK. I HAVE REMORSE IN SUCH INCIDENT. WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN. LOOKING TOWARD IMPROVING FLYING SKILLS AND AVOID RWY INCURSION IN THE FUTURE. I APOLOGIZED TO ABI ATC AND THE FLYING COMMUNITY.
