Narrative:
Ckb tower was closed and we had to get clearance through FSS. Distracted by this we neglected to ensure there was a takeoff alternate on our dispatch release/flight plan and we departed uneventfully. A takeoff alternate was required with the visibility at 1/4 mi, we didn't have one.
