Narrative:
Departed runway 9L at mia runway heading to 5000 ft per clearance. At approximately 1000 ft AGL we received a TCASII TA. Conflict aircraft was slightly to left and then overhead at +100 ft. We never had a visual nor did ATC issue a warning. We questioned ATC and they said small propeller aircraft had departed opa locka on 90 degree heading and turned to 180 degree heading perpendicular to our flight path.
