Narrative:
Original taxi clearance, taxi to runway 8 at dia (den). Due to winds and student experience (I was giving oe to new copilot), asked for and received runway 17L (runway 17R shorter due to construction). As we taxied out, the taxiway signage on the left said 'cn' and I continued past the turn onto taxiway 'ed' (same taxiway). Told ground, we missed the turn, turned around and taxied via the proper taxiway. No further complications. Next day, same taxi route and noticed the signage for 'ed' (on the right) was much further down the taxiway and hard to see from the left seat. Made a note on my own taxi diagram.
