Narrative:

At the time of departure, ZZZ is a non twred field. We made all calls on the CTAF including, 'taxiing to runway X,' 'taking runway X,' and 'on the roll runway X.' we received our IFR clearance and release for departure from center. The runway has a rise in the center so that one extreme is not visible from the other. On the takeoff roll at about 80 KTS, we realized that an aircraft was also taking off straight at us in the opposite direction. We aborted the takeoff and veered to the right. The other aircraft also elected to veer to his right so that the aircraft passed each other left to left with about 50 ft of horizontal clearance. We returned to the gate and disembarked passenger for a time to debrief, if possible. The cessna was observed to depart ZZZ and was not answering queries on unicom (CTAF). Is there any way the tower hours of operation can be extended to cover the departure and arrival of the scheduled air carrier? Supplemental information from acn 523607: airport has a part time tower which opens at XB00 local. Incident occurred at XA20 local time, so airspace was class G, unctlred. Received IFR clearance from center during taxi. The cessna also aborted the takeoff and we passed each other left wing to left wing, with about 50 ft clearance, closure rate around 40 KTS. The C337 continued down the runway, turned around at the end, and took off from runway X. We were unable to get it's north number.
