Narrative:

Reviewed the paperwork in sea operations for flight XXX/xx. There were no open or deferred maintenance items. During preflight in the aircraft, the copilot showed me the mrd, said it looked good, and was from SOP. I did not review the logbook. I was informed after the termination of the identify by mr X chief pilot in ZZZ, that we reportedly departed sea with an open logbook item. We had no discrepancies en route. I do not know what the reported open logbook item was.

Narrative: REVIEWED THE PAPERWORK IN SEA OPS FOR FLT XXX/XX. THERE WERE NO OPEN OR DEFERRED MAINT ITEMS. DURING PREFLT IN THE ACFT, THE COPLT SHOWED ME THE MRD, SAID IT LOOKED GOOD, AND WAS FROM SOP. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE RPTED OPEN LOGBOOK ITEM WAS.
