Narrative:
1) flaps 15 degrees takeoff. Power advanced normally, acceleration normal. Takeoff warning horn at 90-95 KTS. Rejected takeoff, ran checklists, taxied to gate. Maintenance ran computer checks per maintenance manual and could find nothing wrong. Reboarded for takeoff #2. 2) ran power up to 75% to see if horn would sound. All cockpit indications normal just like first takeoff attempt. Started takeoff roll, and warning horn sounded at 80-85 KTS. Rejected again, returned to gate and turned aircraft over to maintenance. After first reject maintenance told me the aircraft had no history of this type of event. After second reject, maintenance at ZZZ told me a similar event occurred on aug/tue/01 and they replaced switch 130 in the flap system. After reject #2 this switch was adjusted and a subsequent takeoff with no revenue passenger onboard was accomplished successfully.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: B737 CREW EXPERIENCED MULTIPLE TKOF WARNING HORNS AT 95 KTS ON TKOF ROLL AT SNA.
Narrative: 1) FLAPS 15 DEGS TKOF. PWR ADVANCED NORMALLY, ACCELERATION NORMAL. TKOF WARNING HORN AT 90-95 KTS. REJECTED TKOF, RAN CHKLISTS, TAXIED TO GATE. MAINT RAN COMPUTER CHKS PER MAINT MANUAL AND COULD FIND NOTHING WRONG. REBOARDED FOR TKOF #2. 2) RAN PWR UP TO 75% TO SEE IF HORN WOULD SOUND. ALL COCKPIT INDICATIONS NORMAL JUST LIKE FIRST TKOF ATTEMPT. STARTED TKOF ROLL, AND WARNING HORN SOUNDED AT 80-85 KTS. REJECTED AGAIN, RETURNED TO GATE AND TURNED ACFT OVER TO MAINT. AFTER FIRST REJECT MAINT TOLD ME THE ACFT HAD NO HISTORY OF THIS TYPE OF EVENT. AFTER SECOND REJECT, MAINT AT ZZZ TOLD ME A SIMILAR EVENT OCCURRED ON AUG/TUE/01 AND THEY REPLACED SWITCH 130 IN THE FLAP SYS. AFTER REJECT #2 THIS SWITCH WAS ADJUSTED AND A SUBSEQUENT TKOF WITH NO REVENUE PAX ONBOARD WAS ACCOMPLISHED SUCCESSFULLY.
