Narrative:
First incident: cockpit control panel froze at FL230. First officer flew aircraft manually. Captain studying log book. Captain made a PA, we would be returning to dfw. We would not need to do our planned emergency checklist. Second incident: different B757 aircraft. Mechanical problem with bleed valve and air pack. Just before wheels up captain aborted take off due to engine bleed valve light illuminating. First officer called it a high speed abort.

Narrative: FIRST INCIDENT: COCKPIT CTL PANEL FROZE AT FL230. FO FLEW ACFT MANUALLY. CAPT STUDYING LOG BOOK. CAPT MADE A PA, WE WOULD BE RETURNING TO DFW. WE WOULD NOT NEED TO DO OUR PLANNED EMER CHECKLIST. SECOND INCIDENT: DIFFERENT B757 ACFT. MECHANICAL PROBLEM WITH BLEED VALVE AND AIR PACK.
