Narrative:
I departed BE33 stl to fly 170 degree heading. Apparently BE33 did not receive the assigned heading and flew a 120 degree heading. I then departed MD80 to fly a 125 degree heading. MD80 overtook BE33 and passed him on the right, 1 mi southeast of airport.
