Narrative:

We were given the following taxi instructions txwys Y, P, east, and runway 31C. I was head down with the takeoff local data when we taxied across runway 31R at taxiway P, instead of crossing runway 31R at taxiway east. We then got clearance from ground to taxi to runway 31R to taxiway east. We requested txwys P, G, east, runway 31C, and were given this clearance. This made it very clear to me how fatigued we both actually were. Not drowsy, but fatigued. It was only apparent in our performance, we both felt fairly good. When I got home after this flight, I 'collapsed.' it was only a 3 day trip, but worth 20 hours, and coast to coast time changes.

Title: A TAXI DEV AT MDW ATTRIBUTED TO DISTR AND FATIGUE.

Narrative: WE WERE GIVEN THE FOLLOWING TAXI INSTRUCTIONS TXWYS Y, P, E, AND RWY 31C. I WAS HEAD DOWN WITH THE TKOF LCL DATA WHEN WE TAXIED ACROSS RWY 31R AT TXWY P, INSTEAD OF XING RWY 31R AT TXWY E. WE THEN GOT CLRNC FROM GND TO TAXI TO RWY 31R TO TXWY E. WE REQUESTED TXWYS P, G, E, RWY 31C, AND WERE GIVEN THIS CLRNC. THIS MADE IT VERY CLR TO ME HOW FATIGUED WE BOTH ACTUALLY WERE. NOT DROWSY, BUT FATIGUED. IT WAS ONLY APPARENT IN OUR PERFORMANCE, WE BOTH FELT FAIRLY GOOD. WHEN I GOT HOME AFTER THIS FLT, I 'COLLAPSED.' IT WAS ONLY A 3 DAY TRIP, BUT WORTH 20 HRS, AND COAST TO COAST TIME CHANGES.
