Narrative:
Air carrier X (bna to ewr via vxv) was assigned FL270 by the previous controller, requesting FL330. I was working about 8 to 10 other aircraft at the time, including north bound air carrier Y requesting FL350. When I cleared the air carrier Y aircraft to FL330, it sounded to me as if two people answered my last transmission. Consequently, I immediately broadcast something like, 'it sounded as if two people answered that last transmission. That clearance was for air carrier Y.' when I unkeyed my microphone, I heard someone say 'blocked' indicating that my transmission had been blocked by an aircraft, so I then transmitted something like, 'the last clearance to FL330 was for air carrier Y, I have not cleared any other aircraft to FL330 in the last few mins.' the air carrier Y pilot then acknowledged the clearance. A couple mins later, I observed aircraft X climbing and I asked him to say assigned attitude,

Title: ZTL EXERCISES EXTRA DILIGENCE TO VALIDATE CLRNC ACKNOWLEDGEMENT WHEN PERCEIVING AN ACR HAS TAKEN ANOTHER ACR'S CLB CLRNC.
Narrative: ACR X (BNA TO EWR VIA VXV) WAS ASSIGNED FL270 BY THE PREVIOUS CTLR, REQUESTING FL330. I WAS WORKING ABOUT 8 TO 10 OTHER ACFT AT THE TIME, INCLUDING N BOUND ACR Y REQUESTING FL350. WHEN I CLEARED THE ACR Y ACFT TO FL330, IT SOUNDED TO ME AS IF TWO PEOPLE ANSWERED MY LAST XMISSION. CONSEQUENTLY, I IMMEDIATELY BROADCAST SOMETHING LIKE, 'IT SOUNDED AS IF TWO PEOPLE ANSWERED THAT LAST XMISSION. THAT CLRNC WAS FOR ACR Y.' WHEN I UNKEYED MY MIC, I HEARD SOMEONE SAY 'BLOCKED' INDICATING THAT MY XMISSION HAD BEEN BLOCKED BY AN ACFT, SO I THEN TRANSMITTED SOMETHING LIKE, 'THE LAST CLRNC TO FL330 WAS FOR ACR Y, I HAVE NOT CLEARED ANY OTHER ACFT TO FL330 IN THE LAST FEW MINS.' THE ACR Y PLT THEN ACKNOWLEDGED THE CLRNC. A COUPLE MINS LATER, I OBSERVED ACFT X CLBING AND I ASKED HIM TO SAY ASSIGNED ATTITUDE,
