Narrative:
An agreement between atl approach control and ZTL specifies altitude assignments and departure gates for aircraft depending on their type of aircraft and route of flts. The aircraft, air carrier X should have been cleared through the #2 gate by atl approach, but was cleared through the #1 gate instead, resulting in an airspace violation. The violation was reported to the ZTL supervisor, but I am unaware of the results of their investigation, if any.
