Narrative:
Captain notified #1 flight attendant of the threat. Advised to maintain service until further notice. They would decide to land at nearest port or turn back to lax. It was decided that we would come back to lax. We prepared the cabin for an emergency evacuate/evacuation. Completed planned emergency checklist. Upon landing at lax it was decided that we would deplane through the aft stairs. We parked at a remote area of the airport and were bussed to terminal. We were there till our bags were released approximately XH00. The flight service crew was released to go home. (Passenger were cooperative and well behaved).
