Narrative:
Failed to log ice checks in logbook. Must be logged every leg starting oct/mon/01. Ice checks done, just not logged. Oct/mon/01 was first day to have to log every leg for an ice check. Flight pairing started on sep/sat/01. I just realized a few days after the trip I had forgotten to log ice checks.

Title: SEVERAL DAYS AFTER THE NEW REQUIREMENT FOR THE LOGGING OF 'ICE CHKS' AN MD80 PLT REALIZES HE DID NOT COMPLY.
Narrative: FAILED TO LOG ICE CHKS IN LOGBOOK. MUST BE LOGGED EVERY LEG STARTING OCT/MON/01. ICE CHKS DONE, JUST NOT LOGGED. OCT/MON/01 WAS FIRST DAY TO HAVE TO LOG EVERY LEG FOR AN ICE CHK. FLT PAIRING STARTED ON SEP/SAT/01. I JUST REALIZED A FEW DAYS AFTER THE TRIP I HAD FORGOTTEN TO LOG ICE CHKS.
