Narrative:

Taxiing to the FBO, ground gave us a clearance to enter the ramp at taxiway C. We passed taxiway V on the way in, (taxiway V is another entrance to the ramp area), but there was an aircraft outbound on taxiway V. We entered the ramp as cleared, but did not account for the ATIS reporting taxiway C's maximum aircraft weight at 12500 pounds. We were on taxiway C for only a few ft before entering the ramp. Nothing was said about it by ground, and there were no conflicts. We need to make sure we consider how all airport limitations affect us.
