Narrative:
Had the computer system combined my flight time (block) as a line check airman, I may have realized how close I was to exceeding 100 hours in 30 days. As I reported to the ramp for my flight to tokyo's narita airport (nrt), seeing that the flight time was 30 mins more because of headwinds, I would have known that this block time would put me over 100 hours. Since air carrier X divides the block time between captain and first officer, I didn't realize how close I was or I would have notified them that the block time for that day would put me over. As a result, I had exceeded the 100 hours when I landed in narita. I will be sure to track this with my personal logbook in the future. Thank you for your assistance and help.
