Narrative:
When plucking tickets male passenger and his wife became verbally abusive to me. I gave them a verbal warning and they retaliated. I referred them to the ticket agent. As they returned and boarded flight they kept saying and displaying hostile behavior. I then continued to pursue the event with the captain prior to departure. At the gate operational manager meets flight and reprimands passenger with warning from flight crew, captain, and carrier personnel. Flight left and no diversion was made. Passenger remained quiet throughout the flight.
