Narrative:
After departing phx we were given a heading of 020 degrees to intercept the phx 034 radial. After intercepting this radial we were given a clearance to fly direct zuni intersection. When we entered this into the FMS it apparently removed the rest of the departure procedure. After zuni the FMS turned us direct to laa instead of fmn. ATC advised we were off course so we corrected and resumed the flight without incident. We were approximately 15 miles east of course when advised by ATC.
