Narrative:
Aircraft #1, a B727, was cleared for takeoff runway 23L with a turn to 210 degrees. Aircraft #2 was cleared for takeoff runway 23L with a turn to 210 degrees when aircraft #1 was 1/2 mi off the departure end of the runway. Aircraft #1 climbed out at 120 KTS, aircraft #2 (a falcon jet) climbed out at 180 KTS. I failed to notice the overtake and shipped both aircraft to departure. Separation was lost.
