Narrative:
I was controller in charge at time of error. The controller working sector had been fpl (full performance level) for 2 days at time of error. A controller with 37 yrs experience was working d-side while training a developmental. The radar controller failed to realize that the air carrier #1 was overtaking air carrier #2.

Title: ZJX ARTCC RADAR CTLR FAILED TO RECOGNIZE AN OVERTAKE SIT BTWN 2 ACR ACFT THAT RESULTED IN AN OPERROR.
Narrative: I WAS CTLR IN CHARGE AT TIME OF ERROR. THE CTLR WORKING SECTOR HAD BEEN FPL (FULL PERFORMANCE LEVEL) FOR 2 DAYS AT TIME OF ERROR. A CTLR WITH 37 YRS EXPERIENCE WAS WORKING D-SIDE WHILE TRAINING A DEVELOPMENTAL. THE RADAR CTLR FAILED TO REALIZE THAT THE ACR #1 WAS OVERTAKING ACR #2.
